There are business owners STILL to this day, that are not capitalizing on the benefits of video marketing. We live in a time where social media is the go-to place for almost everything. 65% of the world’s population are visual learners - the title kind of says it all. The majority of the world are visual learners (if you didn’t catch that the first time). Meaning they can comprehend better when you can tell your story/give your pitch utilizing imagery, video, graphics, etc.
Video boosts revenue faster - research shows that businesses who utilize video are more likely to grow their business faster than their counterparts. By 49% for all the accounting majors out there.
Emotions sell - Like the title suggests, emotions are arguably the biggest deciding factor in someone’s purchase decisions. When you use video, you have the ability to couple amazing footage, with beautiful, emotion-evoking music that helps your audience connect with the video content. Think of audio and video as PB&J, they have to be together.
Google ranking - A part of a search engine’s formula that’s used when determining how far up the search results your business ranks, is how long are users spending on your site. An image can hold ones attention for maybe a few moments, but a video COMMANDS how long the user must watch to get the pay-off (story resolution). So the longer the videos, or the more videos you have on your site, the longer the user is likely to spend on your site, thus the higher the potentially of ranking better on search engines such as Google.
Mobile first - 90% of all consumers are taking in online content on their mobile devices. People like to consume on the go. Mobile users are more likely to watch ads on YouTube, Facebook, etc. than if that same ad appeared on their TV screen. So basically, they’re more likely to watch your businesses’ video ad.
